The Journey Continues 02/22/2011

I am a very ordinary person, but I have lived through some exciting moments - everyone has.   I have always enjoyed listening to life stories.   My dad was involved in some shenanigans as a youngster.   Cows on school house roofs, Roman Candles,  dynamite, rosin - I enjoyed his stories.   My friend, Grandma Scott, could keep a crowd laughing for hours with her life stories.  These are the things that keep life meaningful.

I have been considering an online blog ever since I began my Caring Bridge Journal.   I really enjoy journaling and have been keeping a journal since 1993.  I am working on digitizing my original journals so our kids can look at them and remember life growing up.

It is interesting to look back and see pivotal decisions and how they unfolded as time went on.   It is also fun to remember some of the things the kids did growing up.  Prayers were answered, kids grew, lessons were learned, people enriched our lives in many ways, and life happened.

We have had so many rich moments with friends and family.   Some of these times are unknown to Andrew, John and Rebecca, because they were so little at the time.   Now maybe they can read about them.  :-)

Adding to both the front and back ends of a blog is going to be quite a project for me.   I am glad that I kept the dates with my handwritten journal entries.
